10.5.10 - in shock

still in shock. it's slowly sinking in. but i didn't think about taking a single picture today.

10.4.10 - rocked.

my world was rocked last night with the news of my cousin's death. i spent the night at shannon's and hung out at her house all day today except running out for lunch. jonathan kept me entertained all day and made me laugh and smile a lot, which i needed. he started every conversation with a "SO! Kiki." and then would continue whatever the topic of the moment was. :) cracked me up. thanks for helping distract me today you two.

10.3.10 - kisses

just sending some kisses to mommy and daddy and aunt janet out in CA. :)

10.2.10 - first

today was a relaxing day. a little bit of shopping for halloween costumes, playing outside at home, and rootbeer floats for dessert! my kids had never had them before and lmg was a little nervous about trying them since she said she hadn't really liked rootbeer the last time she tasted it. i told her she just hadn't had it with ice cream in it! i was right...she loooved it. as did the other two. :)

10.1.10 - playground

i have my kiddos for the weekend and today we met some friends at a playground. this is jonathan, shannon's little boy...my almost-nephew. :) he is jack's buddy...although they don't exactly play WITH each other yet. but they like getting to see each other. :)

9.30.10 - five bumps on a log

so today my kids' dad spotted this log in the water. that was not the cool part.

the cool part was the five turtles sitting on the log sunning themselves! of course, four of them plopped back into the water as we tiptoed down to see how close we could get... but this guy stayed for another minute or so to check us out. :)

9.29.10 - gary at the playground

today gary (my kids grandmother) came to the playground across the street with us. the kids had a blast showing her all their favorite tricks and spots. and i enjoyed having another person over 4ft tall to talk to! :)
